Restaurants in Ähtäri Zoo area

A modern but cozy café where you can find all kinds of sweet and salty snacks. Open during Finnish winter break 24.2-2.3. from 10 am to 5 pm, lunch served from 11am to 3pm. 

In Hotel Mesikämmen's restaurant you can enjoy beautiful lake views from the floor to ceiling windows, or outside in the terrace. The restaurant offers a changing a la carte menu and a breakfast buffet. 

Kaakkolampi Cafe is closed for the season and will open again in spring 2024!

Now is your chance to enjoy some real Finnish camping and hiking style snack brake on open fire! Next to Kaakkolampi cafe is a grilling area just across the moose enclosure, where our visitors can heat up or prepare their foor all year round. The wood and sticks are provided, and the grilling area has a roof protecting from the weather and plenty of seats.
